“I love this set! Simran, you’ve created a product that is South Asians girlies did not know we needed. As of right now, conversations about the “Great Shift”, olfactory ethics, and an increase in South Asian beauty practices/makeup, I am proud to wear my jewelry everyday! As a child, a comment like “but you don’t look Indian” was meant to be taken as a compliment, as a grown woman, I’ve understood that it is a backhanded compliment that South Asians are ugly. Meanwhile, India carries 6 Miss World titles & 3 Miss Universe titles. The iconic Indian Aishwarya Rai was once (still is in my opinion) named the most beautiful woman in the world.
